Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 1 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how SOLR AI Limited ("we", "our", or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and platform. We use only essential cookies and security services: we do not set any advertising or analytics trackers today.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and improve your browsing experience.
We also use similar technologies such as:
- Local Storage: Data stored in your browser, for example your interface theme preference
- Session Storage: Temporary data that expires when you close your browser
2. Types of Cookies We Use
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the website to function properly. They enable core functionality such as security, authentication, and session management.
Purpose: User authentication, security, load balancing
Duration: Session or up to 30 days
Can be disabled: No (required for service operation)
2.2 Preference Storage
We store your interface preferences, such as your choice of light or dark theme, in your browser's local storage so the site remembers how you like it displayed.
Purpose: Remembering your interface theme preference
Duration: Until you clear your browser storage
Can be disabled: Yes (the site will revert to its default theme)
2.3 Security Cookies (Cloudflare Turnstile)
Our contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot protection service. When you use the contact form, Turnstile may set its own cookies and local state to verify that you are a genuine visitor.
Purpose: Bot protection and abuse prevention on the contact form
Duration: Set by Cloudflare, typically session or short-lived
Can be disabled: No (required to submit the contact form)
2.4 Optional Analytics Cookies (only with your consent)
With your permission, we use two optional services to understand how the website is used. Each is a separate choice in the cookie banner, and each loads only if you allow that category:
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4, for aggregate, anonymised page-usage measurement.
- Session insights: Microsoft Clarity, for aggregated heatmaps and session insights.
Purpose: Aggregate understanding of how the site is used, to improve it
Loaded: Only after you allow that specific category in the cookie banner
Your control: Allow or refuse each category independently, and change your choice at any time via Cookie settings in the footer
We do not use targeting or advertising cookies.
3. First-Party vs Third-Party Cookies
First-Party Cookies
Set directly by SOLR AI Limited on our domain. These cover essential functions such as authentication and session management, plus your interface preferences.
Third-Party Cookies
The only third-party service we use is:
- Cloudflare Turnstile: Bot protection on our contact form. It sets its own cookies and local state when the form is used.
4. Specific Cookies We Use
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookies | Authentication and session management (first party) | Strictly necessary | Session |
| theme (local storage) | Interface theme preference (first party) | Preference | Until cleared |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Bot protection on the contact form (third party) | Security | Set by Cloudflare when the form is used |
5. How to Control Cookies
Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can:
- Delete all cookies
- Block all cookies
- Allow all cookies
- Block third-party cookies
- Clear cookies when you close your browser
To find out more about cookies and how to manage them, visit:
- Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
- Firefox: support.mozilla.org
- Safari: support.apple.com
- Edge: support.microsoft.com
Because we do not set any advertising or analytics trackers, no separate opt-out tools are required. Strictly necessary cookies and the security service on our contact form cannot be disabled without affecting those features.
6. Impact of Disabling Cookies
Blocking or deleting cookies may impact your experience:
- You may not be able to log in or stay logged in
- Your theme preference will not be remembered
- The contact form may not work, as its bot protection needs local state
Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled as they are essential for the platform to function.
7. Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legislation, or our practices. We will notify you of material changes through our platform or via email.
