As the first dedicated sales hire, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue, building relationships with key partners, and shaping the future of our sales strategy. What You’ll Do
As Sales Lead at SOLR AI, you will:
1. Develop and Execute Sales Strategies
- Define and implement a sales strategy that aligns with SOLR AI’s growth goals and market opportunities.
- Build a robust pipeline of solar installers, energy providers, and other potential clients.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities in key markets, both locally and internationally.
2. Drive Revenue Growth
- Own the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and closing.
- Meet and exceed revenue targets through proactive outreach, personalized pitches, and relationship building.
- Leverage data-driven insights to optimize sales tactics and identify cross-selling opportunities.
3. Build Relationships with Key Partners
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with solar installers, manufacturers, and energy providers.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding their unique needs and aligning SOLR AI’s solutions to deliver maximum value.
- Collaborate with strategic partners to expand SOLR AI’s reach and enhance the platform’s value proposition.
4. Shape the Sales Function
- Develop scalable sales processes, playbooks, and tools to support future growth.
- Implement and manage CRM tools to track and analyze pipeline performance, customer interactions, and key metrics.
- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams based on customer insights, ensuring the platform evolves to meet market demands.
5. Represent SOLR AI in the Market
- Be the face of SOLR AI at industry events, conferences, and meetings, showcasing our mission and solutions.
- Educate potential customers and partners about the value of AI-driven solar solutions, positioning SOLR AI as an industry leader.
What We’re Looking For
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth in a B2B environment.
- Experience in renewable energy, solar technology, or SaaS sales.
- Strong understanding of the solar industry, including workflows, pain points, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in managing and optimizing pipelines using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Preferred Skills
- Existing network of relationships within the solar or renewable energy industries.
- Experience selling to SMBs and enterprise clients, with the ability to tailor approaches for different customer segments.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or technology-driven platforms.
- Comfort working in a startup environment, with the ability to wear multiple hats and adapt quickly.
